Winter just won't quit
Winter seems to be holding on with two fists. It's another Wednesday snowstorm here in Central MA. I really shouldn't complain since I happen to have a job that really lends itself to snow storms, but they are still annoying and inconvenient.
The only good thing about snow is cross-country skiing. I had forgotten I love this until my dad forced me to take every last thing I owned out of his house, including my skis. So one bored winter Saturday I decided to take them out to a trail near my house. It was awesome! And the pup had a blast too.....
This will be my new obsession, too bad the snow isn't going to stick around long enough to enjoy it fully.

Columbus Day Weekend
It's Columbus Day weekend here in the North East and it has been beautiful! I took the pup out for a hike yesterday and these are some shots I got:
It's been a good day.

Its Raining Cats and Dogs....
Strangest day ever.
It was warm earlier and then it suddenly started pouring out... I mean REALLY RAINING.
And now I'm going to take advantage of this rain and go to bed.

Fall Flowers
Fall is an interesting time for me and my gardens.
I spend all winter planning them, all spring planting them, all summer maintaining and enjoying them, and then autumn comes and suddenly I just want to cut everything back and be done with it.
So yesterday I cut back the Hydrangea bushes. Then I made little bouquets and put them all over the house. My favorite was this one:
